Openwork LLC is seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Operator in the Houston area to support an electrical manufacturing partner near Channelview/Houston Port. The role involves receiving, stocking and recording materials, coordinating with staff, and stocking workstations.

Candidates should have 1–3 years forklift experience, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a HS diploma or GED. This is a temp-to-hire position with a 6:00–4:30 Monday–Thursday schedule and Friday 6:00–2:00.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive, stock, and record-keep materials.
• Communicate with staff and management to identify material needs.
• Fill workstations with appropriate hardware and material.
• Maintain records of materials using a scanner or designated computer program.
• May utilize a forklift to transport, load and unload materials.
• Learn and adhere to all safety policies and manufacturing policies.
• Ensure quality by following standard work and identifying risks to product quality.
