Job summary

Lacosta Facility Support Services is seeking a forklift operator for the night shift in Owensboro, KY. You will handle forklift operations, pull orders, and maintain inventory while ensuring safe handling of materials.

Requirements include at least one year of forklift experience, safety gear, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. The role supports 4 on/4 off scheduling and on-site operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipments by loading and securing products and recording units shipped.
• Keep loading area, inventory, and equipment clean; follow safety regulations.

Job Schedule:

4 on, 4 off schedule (You work 4 shifts, then have 4 shifts off)

Night Shift 5:30 PM-5:30 AM (4 days on/4 days off)

Pay Rate:

Job duties : Responsible for: Safe forklift operation, order pulling, maintaining inventory, loading materials, and documentation.Material Handling

• Ensures orderly production and distribution of products
• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages
• Locates and packs materials for shipping
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, loading, and securing product
• Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
• Safely operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move products
• Keeps inventory, loading area and machinery clean
• Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations

Requirements:

• Pass background check and drug screening
• Physical requirements: walking, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting 50lbs or more independently.
• Minimum one year of previous forklift experience
• Wear safety glasses, hard hat, Hi-vis safety vest, steel-toed or composite toed shoes, long pants while working
• Remove all jewelry and accessories
