The individual will assist with all transportation of equipment and materials with minimal supervision. The position involves reading work orders, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with supervisors to ensure inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years' experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
• Stand for 8–10 hours per shift.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Follow safety protocols in a heavy manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle all material needed in the fabrication department.
• Identify, label, and store materials in appropriate storage areas.
• Inspect materials for damage or defects and report discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of materials received and distributed.
• Read work orders or instructions to determine material or equipment needs.
• Examine forklifts daily and fill out checklist.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding inventory.
• Sort materials or objects for processing or transport.
• Other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
