Southwire Company in Youngsville, NC is seeking a Material Handler to support manufacturing operations with warehousing and logistics duties. The role includes forklift operation, data entry, and staging finished products to ensure on-time fulfillment of customer orders.

The position requires forklift experience, basic computer skills (Excel/Word), and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Shift options include 1st, 2nd, or 3rd; compensation ranges from $18.72 to $20.60 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating a forklift.
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment.
• Basic computer skills – MS Excel, MS Word, Data Entry, SAP desirable.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Focus on excellent customer service and take pride in every order we fill for our customers.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and move material in the warehouse or plant.
• Stage finished products.
• Entering data using warehouse computer applications.
• Perform all duties and specific projects as assigned in a safe and productive manner.
