Job summary

Northwire Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to receive, store, and transport materials used in production. You will use forklift equipment to move items, verify lot numbers, and ensure correct labeling and locations in the warehouse.

The role requires basic math, strong attention to detail, and familiarity with MRP/ERP systems. Prior forklift experience is preferred and a Northwire license may be required within one week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification or license preferred or must be obtained within one week.
• Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and move materials to production and back to stock.
• Operate forklift and ensure safe, efficient handling.
• Use MRP/ERP system to update weights and locations.
• Verify material part numbers with barcode scanners.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and document material flow.
• Perform forklift inspections and report needed repairs.
• Assist with inventory and data entry as needed.
