Job summary

STOW Group in Adairsville, GA, is seeking a Material Handler Loader to support warehouse operations in the Logistics department. You will follow supervisor instructions, prioritize loading schedules, and use SAP/SharePoint to document activities and ensure accurate order preparation.

Requirements include knowledge of warehouse layout, ability to operate a pallet stacker and forklift, and proficiency with scanning devices.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of warehouse layout and areas (Hall A & B, powder warehouse, picking area).
• Product knowledge and warehouse procedures.
• Ability to use scanning equipment.
• Forklift license (certification).
• Ability to operate a pallet stacker.
• Ability to estimate order volume and packaging requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follows scan/SAP instructions indicating replenishment needs.
• Implements improved work methods to prevent complaints or damages.
• Directs order pickers and seeks productivity improvements.
• Checks prepared orders and stores completed orders.
• Ensures overseas packaging complies with standards.
• Adapts to changes in work priorities and maintains safety standards.
• Completes end-of-shift report documenting activities.
• Assists colleagues and creates new storage locations as needed.
• Monitors and transmits transfer orders to ensure timely completion.
• Supports master data updates by sharing location data.
• Assists with inventory and cycle counting.
• Promotes best practices among order pickers and proposes improvements.
• Performs order picker tasks when needed; conducts 5S audits.
