Job summary

American Trim is seeking dependable Material Handlers / Forklift Operators to support our manufacturing operations. This position helps keep production running by safely moving raw materials, components, dies, coils and finished goods throughout the facility.

The role offers shifts with overtime and a base pay of $17.30 per hour, plus a $1.50 per hour differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Candidates should have forklift experience and a strong safety focus, thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
• High school level reading, writing and basic math.
• Ability to perform inventory transactions in required systems.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to move materials throughout the facility.
• Move parts and materials to designated locations and record inventory movements in systems.
• Verify inventory accuracy and assist with physical inventory activities.
• Supply production areas with raw materials and components to maintain continuous operations.
• Load and unload shipments and prepare shipping documents.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety procedures.
