Job summary

ACCO Brands in Mississippi is seeking a forklift operator to move raw materials and finished goods between cells and the warehouse, supporting fabrication and production lines. You will perform daily maintenance on equipment, operate forklift and related material handling gear, read shop packs, and ensure safety and 5S standards while documenting transactions and working overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have High school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to read and comprehend simple work instructions.
• Must be able to write and fill out log sheets and other routine paperwork.
• Must be able to perform all physical demands of the position. Primarily sitting, but occasionally may bend, stoop, reach, walk, and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to obtain certification to operate forklift.
• Experience in reading shop pack sheets preferred.
• Experience in operating narrow isle reach trucks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials and finished goods between cells and the warehouse.
• Perform daily maintenance and checks of forklift, battery, and other equipment.
• Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Deliver and move raw material to fabrication/production lines as required.
• Return finished product to warehouse.
• Record daily transactions and submit to management.
• Read shop packs and provide to fabrication/production teams.
• Support safety, quality, housekeeping, and 5S processes.
• Work overtime as required.
• Maintain satisfactory performance levels.
• Assist in special projects as required.
• Perform other duties as required.
