Job summary

Altium Packaging seeks a Material Handler to receive, store and distribute raw materials to designated staging areas at our Phoenix facility. You will operate a forklift, inspect materials for quality, and ensure accurate labeling and organization on the dock and ramp.

Responsibilities include preparing materials for grinding, moving finished products, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment in a loud production setting. Overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior forklift operation and material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a loud production environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store and distribute raw materials to designated staging areas.
• Operate forklift to unload inbound and outbound shipments.
• Visually inspect materials and report discrepancies.
• Prepare materials for grinding process.
• Transport and store materials and supplies to staging areas and label correctly.
• Maintain cleanliness of ramp, dock and surrounding areas.
• Follow safety standards and regulations; work overtime as needed.
