Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a Material Handler to support production, safely picking, kitting, receiving, putting away, and delivering materials. You will document movements, ensure correct parts and quantities, and use material handling equipment. Training and development opportunities are available across shifts.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 months experience in logistics and warehousing.
Intermediate to advanced computer knowledge.
Experience operating material handling equipment (Counterbalance, turret, reach and picker forklifts).
Previous Caterpillar paving experience is a noted preference.

Responsibilities

Load and unload materials by hand.
Cross-train in shipping, receiving, and storage.
Follow work orders to move materials.
Load materials into vehicles and secure with strapping.
Move materials from storage to designated areas.
Perform minor forklift maintenance and safety checks.
Operate forklifts to load/move products.
Assemble crates for machines or vehicles.
Participate in training and development.
Perform other assigned duties.
