Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Material Handler at our Capital Blvd site in Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on material planning, verification, storage, and allocation to support manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities include operating RF units, moving material per production plans, kitting parts, maintaining inventory, and ensuring quality per Eaton guidelines. Forklift operation and safety are essential; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 6 months minimum experience operating material handling equipment.
• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, storing, organizing, and allocating materials.
• Operate and read hand-held RF units to locate and move material.
• Move material per production plan and material requests.
• Kit parts and components and distribute to production lines with accuracy.
• Maintain inventory levels and perform cycle counts.
• Load/unload trucks and inspect material for damage.
• Report irregularities or equipment malfunctions.
• Operate forklifts and perform daily 5S housekeeping.
