Job summary

Sanmina Houston is seeking a Material Handler to perform the physical process of storing and distributing materials, as well as the administrative tasks involved in recording stock data. You will receive and inspect shipments, move materials to production lines or storage, pick and pack outbound orders, and log stock movements in ERP systems while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

This role requires 0–1 year of related experience, a high school diploma, forklift skills, and the ability to lift

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0-1 year related experience.
• Stand-up or sit-down forklift driving skills required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; reliability emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damage or quantity accuracy.
• Transport materials to production lines or storage racks using pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Pick and pack items for outbound orders and prepare goods for shipping.
• Track inventory and log stock movements into ERP systems.
• May perform cycle counts and inventory verification; uphold safety standards.
