Job summary

Avantor is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Material Handler for our Sparks, Nevada facility. You will receive, move, store, pick, pack, and ship materials while maintaining inventory records and following OSHA safety requirements.

You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment to keep products moving safely and efficiently. The role is full-time based in Sparks, NV, with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-3 years of warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience required; OSHA forklift and HAZMAT certifications preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar systems is a plus.
• Basic math and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound shipments and inspect items against manifests.
• Store, move, pick, pack and ship materials following safety rules.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and use SAP/WMS systems.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
