Job summary

Sensient is seeking a Material Handler for the 9:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday shift in Sauget, IL. You’ll coordinate product movement, load and unload freight, and help maintain a steady flow of materials through the facility.

Responsibilities include updating inventory records, ensuring accuracy above 95%, labeling shipments, preparing boxes, and collaborating with Inventory Control and Supervisors to meet ISO9001 and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D., with prior warehouse operations and inventory management experience. (AS400 operation desirable).
• 3-5 years of inventory operations and forklift (Reach/Stand/Sit) experience required.
• Ability to work overtime any day up to and including Saturday/Sunday as required.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and math skills.
• The ability to Label, weigh, and dimension freight and record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reports.

Responsibilities

• Load / unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers; maintain and manage inventory with 95%+ accuracy.
• Enter, maintain and update computer inventory records for real-time accuracy.
• Be responsible for inventory rotation and inspection of freight; label shipments and product.
• Prepare shipments and boxes for shipping; complete required documentation.
• Collaborate with Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations Supervisor and Manager to follow ISO9001 and safety standards.
