Job summary

Durex Industries in Cary, IL is hiring a Material Handler to unload, check and prepare materials for production, verify counts, and transport items locally. You will label parts and perform cycle counts within inventory while ensuring accuracy and safety.

The role requires 1–3 years of material handling experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and basic computer skills. A 15% shift differential applies to 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 years material handling experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle for local deliveries.
• Computer skills, Word and Excel.
• Safety/quality minded.
• Organized and detail oriented.

• Ability to read scales and rulers.

Responsibilities

• Receive purchase orders/materials assuring accuracy of receipts.
• Inspect, count, weigh or measure material against PO/packing list.
• Receive in computer system to correct location.
• Perform cycle counting and adjust inventory records.
• Operate forklift as required.
• Fill pick tickets and kits as requested.
• Transport materials to and from a local vendor using a company vehicle.
• Load and unload materials for vendor deliveries; ensure product integrity.
• May be assigned additional tasks as needed.
