Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a Material Handler – Level 1 at the West Jordan, UT facility. This onsite role involves safely moving, storing, and transferring materials, operating forklifts, and supporting production with accurate inventory handling and assembly assistance.

Responsibilities include forklift inspections, ERP/WMS transactions, and maintaining 5S standards while working with line leads and engineers. A high school diploma and forklift certification are required; ability to lift 45 pounds

Ability to work independently, be detail oriented and reliable.

Responsibilities

Move, store, and transfer materials, including forklift operation.
Receive, move, stage, issue and track raw materials and components.
Perform daily forklift inspections and ensure safe operating condition.
Identify material types, part numbers, and inventory labels; maintain FIFO storage.
Document work performed, inspections, and time/materials used.
Support assembly operations and quality assurance for shipments.
Communicate with leads, supervisors, engineers, and planners on needs and issues.
