Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Forklift certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move freight and stock to loading docks and storage areas using equipment.
• Follow written or oral instructions daily.
• Maintain materials process with proper transactions and transfers in QAD.
• Understand Kanban cards and replenishment systems.
• Stage products based on customer orders and assist in filling orders.
• Sort shipments during loading or unloading and label containers.
• Stack shipments in specified locations using pallets or containers.
• Document units moved daily using production sheets.
• Operate lifting devices and forklifts to handle materials.
• Dump scrap steel.
• Other duties as assigned.
