Material Handler Forklift Driver - The Toro Company

Join us as a Material Handler Forklift Driver at The Toro Company.

Position Details
  • Location: Distribution Center, Baraboo
  • Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Pay: $20.71 per hour
About Us

Toro, located in Tomah, Wisconsin, is a manufacturer of outdoor power equipment for residential and commercial use. Our primary departments include assembly, welding, material handling, painting, and supermarket.

Job Responsibilities
  • Fill orders, receive, and stock parts in the warehouse.
  • Deliver parts using forklifts, Raymond, or hoists.
  • Unload trucks and perform routine maintenance on forklifts and parts wagons.
  • Read information from various documents and locate parts in the warehouse.
  • Use forklifts, Raymond, or hoists to move or deliver parts and containers.
  • Count or weigh parts using scales.
  • Use a computer to check location, inventory, and routing/ordering of parts.
  • Perform routine forklift maintenance, including filling propane tanks, checking and adding engine oil, cleaning radiators, and washing forklifts.
Qualifications
  • Prior forklift experience and/or certification preferred.
  • Basic reading, clerical, and math skills: understanding written instructions, recording transactions accurately, performing basic calculations.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes, and metatarsal foot guards (provided by Toro).
  • Steel toe work boots or safety shoes.
