Job summary

Tempur Sealy International is seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Driver for the 1st shift at our Charlotte, NC site. You will load and unload mattress foam cores, apply covers, and palletize finished products for shipment.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork within a leading bedding manufacturer. The position requires the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds, with overtime and flexible hours during peak production.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop and operate machinery continuously.
• Lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Able to work overtime and flexible hours during high-demand production seasons.
• Knowledge of PC usage is preferred and basic data entry operations.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines and work as a team member to achieve zero incidents.
• Follow instructions and suggest improvements.
• Load and unload mattress-sized foam cores from processing machines.
• Apply covers and other material to foam cores, then palletize or box for shipment.
• Ensure product quality meets company standards and escalate issues as needed.
• Occasionally support other functions outside primary work area.
• Maintain and clean the work area.
