Job summary

D.W. Distribution, part of Specialty Building Products (SBP), operates from their Midlothian, TX facility. The Material Handler supports pre-hanging/pre-finishing operations, including receiving, movement, shipping, and production support.

1st shift runs 7:00am–4:00pm CST. Candidates should have forklift experience and be able to read English. Educational requirement is a high school diploma or GED, with forklift certification beneficial.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ year forklift operator experience.
• Cherry picker experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and understand English.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manually pick and stage warehouse items at loading docks.
• Use hand-held scanner to locate items and move to dock doors.
• Move damaged or non-conforming items to reclaim or RTV areas.
• Operate forklift and order picker as required.
• Ensure safe operations and adherence to safety standards.
• Inspect items pulled/loaded to meet quality standards.
• Maintain housekeeping and organization on loading dock/aisles.
• Assist in unloading/loading trucks when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
