Job summary

Neogen, a food safety solutions company, seeks a warehouse associate in Michigan to support material flow from receiving to production and from production to storage. You will move materials, manage transfers in our inventory system, and assist with ship/recall processes.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or warehouse experience, can read safety and operating instructions, and maintain forklift certification. Teamwork and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or relevant manufacturing or warehouse experience.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform routine, high school level math operations.
• Computer Skills: Basic office software, email, and data entry in Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Supply raw materials from warehouse to manufacturing per work orders.
• Unload materials from trucks and move to warehouse locations; update inventory system.
• Replenish finished goods to warehouse locations and record transfers.
• Supply inventoried items from Inventory Request Forms.
• Move short/dated products to quarantine locations and complete transfers.
• Process scrap forms and dispose of material per company guidelines.
• Participate in physical inventories as needed.
• Maintain a current forklift certification and operate forklift safely.
• Collaborate with other areas as needed; perform additional assignments.
