Vulcan Steel Products in Pelham, AL is hiring for a Shipping/Materials role responsible for pulling and staging orders, loading LTL and flatbeds with finished products, and shipping trucks in Plex. Responsibilities include unloading and receiving supplies and materials, and coordinating with shipping leads and supervisors.

Qualified candidates should have forklift experience and be forklift certified, with a strong safety and attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Pull and stage orders, load LTL and flatbeds with finished products, and ship trucks in Plex.
• Unload supplies, materials, and RMAs at the LTL dock. Receive supplies, materials, and RMAs.
• Coordinate assignments with shipping leads and supervisor. Load/unload flatbeds. Move material from transfer tables to correct locations and scan.
