Job summary

Hörmann North America is launching a dock leveler manufacturing facility in Imperial, PA, and seeks a Material Handler to join the dock leveler manufacturing team. Responsibilities include operating a forklift, maintaining equipment, loading/unloading trailers, and ensuring timely material delivery to workstations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in material handling, and SAP experience. Candidates should be communicative, safety-conscious, and versatile in task handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2+ years of material handling experience
• SAP experience preferred
• Must be able to balance multiple priorities.
• Proven Communication Skills.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Open and versatile in accepting and accomplishing a wide variety of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift and pass Hörmann certification.
• Maintain material handling equipment by reporting damage or malfunction.
• Charge electrical material handling equipment properly.
• Load/unload product and raw materials to/from trailers.
• Ensure material is delivered to appropriate workstations in a timely fashion.
• Place incoming items in inventory.
• Be a member of the inventory team.
• Ensure inventory placement and accuracy of inventory transactions and cycle counts.
