Job summary

Liberty Lift Solutions, LLC is seeking a Material Handler to safely move, store, and organize materials across the facility. You will ensure timely delivery to production lines, maintain accurate inventory movement, and operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe, efficient manner.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading, staging materials, inventory logging, and supporting QA, production, and shipping teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain.
• Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Basic computer or scanner skills for inventory tracking.

• Deliver materials to production lines and designated storage areas per schedule.
• Stage raw materials and move completed products to support workflow.
• Safely handle materials of varying sizes and weights.
• Operate forklifts safely and perform daily inspections.
• Record material movements in logs, scanners, or ERP systems.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock rotation.
• Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and maintain clean work areas.
• Support production, warehouse, and shipping/receiving teams as needed.
• Help load outbound shipments and contribute to continuous improvement.

Job description

The Material Handler is responsible forsafely moving, storing, and organizing materials throughout the facility. This role supports production by ensuring materials are delivered to the correct locations on time,maintainingaccurateinventory movement, and operating forklifts and othermaterial ‑ handlingequipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport materials, parts, and finished goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Deliver materials to production lines and designated storage areas according to daily schedules.
• Stage raw materials and remove completed products to support continuous workflow.
• Safely handle materials of varying sizes, weights, and configurations.
• Operate forklifts (sit ‑ down,stand ‑ up, or reach trucks depending on facility) in compliance with safety standards.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report any mechanical issues.
• Maneuver equipment in tight or congested areas whilemaintainingfull control and awareness.
• Follow all facility traffic rules, speed limits, andload ‑ handlingprocedures.

Inventory & Documentation

• Record material movements accurately in logs, scanners, or ERP systems.
• Assistwith cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock rotation.
• Ensure materials are labeled, stored, and organized properly.
• Report inventory discrepancies or damaged materials promptly.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and equipment guidelines.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, including aisles, racks, and staging zones.
• Report unsafe conditions,near ‑ misses, or incidentsimmediately.
• Support company safety initiatives andparticipatein training sessions.

General Support

• Assistproduction, warehouse, and shipping/receiving teams as needed.
• Help load and secure outbound shipments.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance material flow and reduce waste.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Ability tolift upto 50lbsand perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and standing forlong periods.
• Basic computer or scanner skills for inventory tracking.

Preferred

• Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Knowledge ofmaterial ‑ handlingbest practices and warehouse organization.
• Experience in manufacturing,logistics, or industrial operations.
• Safety ‑ focusedmindset with strong situational awareness.
• Attention to detail in documentation and material placement.
• Communication skills to coordinate with production and warehouse teams.
• Reliability and consistent attendance.
• Organizational skills tomaintainefficient material flow.

  Working Conditions

  • Outdoors andmanufacturing environment with exposure to forklifts, machinery, and varying temperaturesand weather.
  • Requires use of PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, andsteel ‑ toeboots.
  • May require overtime, weekend work, or shift flexibility based on production needs.
