Job summary

Huntington Chamber is seeking a full-time, in-person Warehouse/Forklift Operator to move master rolls, in-process rolls, and finished goods using clamp and fork trucks. Responsibilities include staging, material transport, and load securing to ensure on-time production and shipment.

Shifts are 8am-4pm, 2pm-10pm, or 12pm-8pm; candidates must be able to lift 50lbs+, read schedules, and work overtime as needed. Benefits include 401(k), health insurance, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in the workplace.
• Able to lift 50lbs or more.
• Available for overtime, before and after shifts and weekends.
• Organized and able to read and follow instructions.
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others.
• Certified fork truck and clamp truck operator.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Move master rolls, in process rolls, and finished goods within the plant using a clamp truck.
• Stage rolls on pallets as necessary.
• Transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility.
• Identify materials and cross-reference with schedules; report inconsistencies.
• Familiarize with machines to ensure timely delivery and avoid downtime.
• Open loads safely and secure loads for handling and shipment.
• Remove empty skids and stack them in designated areas.
• Service trucks and report mechanical/electrical difficulties.
• Assist in several areas of production using fork trucks.
