Job summary

Staffmark is seeking a Material Handler in Broussard, LA. You will receive, move, stage, load, unload, organize, and transport materials throughout warehouse operations, ensuring inventory accuracy and timely product flow.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts and overhead cranes, following QA/HSE policies, and collaborating with team members to meet production and shipping schedules. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; prior warehouse experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in warehouse or material handling preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes is a plus.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving and inventory control.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive, move, stage, load, unload, organize, and transport materials.
• Verify inventory and maintain accurate locations.
• Prepare materials for production or shipment.
• Assist with inventory control and safe warehouse operations.
• Follow established workplace procedures and QA/HSE policies.
