Job summary

Kohl's is seeking a Material Handler to efficiently prepare, process and move merchandise, with cross-training across departments to support operations. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy and customer service for internal and external stakeholders.

Starting pay is $17.50/hr with a $2.25 weekend premium or a $1.25 night shift premium (premiums cannot be combined). A holiday incentive may add up to $3/hr for seasonal shifts during the holiday period.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English to understand rules, training and safety instructions.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.
• Able to multitask across departments.
• Willing to train in at least 2 departments.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process merchandise, including picking, packing, preparing, shipping orders and returns and loading and unloading trailers.
• Input data to prepare reports.
• Provide high-quality internal and external customer service with vendors and locations.
• Promote a safe work environment by following safety rules and reporting violations.
• Comply with company policies and maintain attendance and dress code.
• Maintain flexible shifts and overtime as needed.
