Job summary

KOHLS is seeking Seasonal Material Handlers to prepare, move, and process merchandise efficiently and safely. You will be cross-trained to support multiple departments, providing strong service to vendors and locations while adhering to safety rules.

Starting pay is $17.50/hr with weekend or night shift premiums. A Holiday Incentive adds up to an extra $3 per hour when you work the full shifts during the promotional period.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English to understand and follow safety and instruction.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and vendors.
• Strong multitasking capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to train in at least two departments.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process merchandise, including picking, packing, preparing, shipping orders and returns and loading and unloading trailers.
• Input data to prepare reports.
• Provide high-quality internal and external customer service, including communicating with vendors, associates and locations to resolve disputes and review compliance.
• Promote a safe work environment, follow all company, state, local and OSHA safety rules, policies and regulations; promptly report any potential violations to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards and guidelines, including those related to accuracy and productivity.
• Maintain regular and acceptable attendance as set by the company and comply with dress code requirements.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule and adhere to the requirement of working any designated shift and overtime as requested per business and operational needs.
