Job summary

Kohl's in Summitville, NY is hiring a Material Handler to prepare, process and move merchandise safely and efficiently according to production rates and guidelines. You will be cross-trained to support multiple departments and assist with busy operations to meet business needs.

Starting pay is $19.00 per hour plus a $0.75 shift differential, with full-time shifts available (1st, 2nd, and weekend options). Benefits include PTO, medical/dental/vision, 401(k), associate discounts and life insurance.

Qualifications

• English proficiency to understand safety rules and instructions.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Ability to multitask across duties and departments.
• Willingness to cross-train in at least two departments.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process merchandise and prepare orders for shipping.
• Pack, pick, and load shipments; manage returns and trailer movements.
• Input data to prepare reports and maintain records.
• Provide high-quality customer service with vendors and associates.
• Follow safety rules and report any hazards or violations.
• Maintain attendance and comply with dress code and policies.
