Job summary

IFS Industries is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Material Handler to receive, store, move, and ship materials, ensuring inventory accuracy and safety compliance. The role supports efficient warehouse operations through precise inventory control and timely shipment processing.

Responsibilities include verifying inbound shipments, preparing orders, performing cycle counts, and safely operating forklifts with RF scanners to maintain organized inventory and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-3 years shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift experience is required; certification preferred.
• RF scanners experience is required.
• Inventory control and cycle counting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound shipments and verify quantities against packing slips, bills of lading, and POs.
• Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate warehouse inventory through RF scanning, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
• Inspect incoming/outgoing materials for damage and report discrepancies.
• Utilize RF scanning equipment to record inventory transactions.
• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Complete shipping and receiving documentation promptly.
• Communicate urgent shipment issues to Logistics, Customer Service, and Warehouse personnel.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and support housekeeping standards.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
