Job summary

ARMI in Lafayette, GA is hiring a Warehouse – Material Handler to keep material moving for our lean field teams. You will receive, inspect, stage, and deliver pipe, fittings, tools, and consumables with careful traceability and inventory discipline.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, assist with loading/unloading, and ensure safety standards on site, including during outdoor work and in food plant environments. Training is provided for the right candidate with 1+ years in similar roles.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, construction, or industrial handling; on‑the‑job training provided.
• Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work outdoors year‑round.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read packing slips and purchase orders.

Responsibilities

• Receiving — unloading, inspecting, and verifying deliveries against POs.
• Material traceability — heat numbers, MTRs, and tags matched.
• Staging — organize pipe, spools, fittings and consumables by crew and area.
• Deliveries — move material to active fronts; loads secured and DOT compliant.
• Inventory & organization — keep laydown areas clean and stocked.
• Equipment — operate forklifts and pallet jacks; daily inspections.
• Safety — conduct toolbox talks; follow rigging and PPE rules.
