Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. in Goodyear, AZ is looking for a full-time Material Handler to support our Distribution Center operations. You will unload, load, warehouse, and stage merchandise to keep stores and customers stocked efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or some high school
• Adaptable to change by working within different departments
• Ability to maintain an excellent attendance and work record
• Must be 18 or older
• Ability to operate pallet jack equipment (manual and automated)

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment by keeping safety a top priority
• Sort, warehouse, stage, and load/unload cartons in an accurate, safe, and efficient manner
• Unload inbound freight/load outbound freight
• Separate and load freight on unpacking lines
• Stage outbound freight in shipping
• Receive and warehouse incoming merchandise into module racks and floor locations
• Pull merchandise from racks or move merchandise to open areas for pulling and distribution in replenishment department
• Replenish and condense merchandise into most effective locations for order pulling in replenishment department
• Operate manual and/or mechanical equipment in a safe and effective manner and maintain proper certifications
• Ensure production and quality standards are met
• Be open to performing other duties as assigned
