Job summary

Adecco Staffing is assisting a local company in Gloucester, MA to fill a Material Handler role. You will receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, use forklifts and pallet jacks to move items, and help maintain inventory accuracy in SAP.

You will collaborate with production and logistics to ensure timely material flow and compliant packaging for outbound shipments. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1–2 years in material handling, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
• 1–2 years of material handling or warehouse experience, preferably in a manufacturing or high-tech environment.
• Familiarity with ERP or warehouse systems (e.g., SAP) and basic computer skills (email, inventory tracking).
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and operate warehouse equipment safely

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for accuracy and quality.
• Safely transport and stage materials within the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP).
• Package and prepare materials for outbound shipments according to standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate material flow
