Job summary

Total Talent Solutions is hiring a Material Handler in Chicago, IL. The role focuses on receiving, moving, staging, loading, unloading, and organizing materials throughout the warehouse to ensure accurate inventory and timely production support.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year warehouse experience, and ability to operate forklifts. The position offers 7 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday, and competitive benefits in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or material-moving equipment.
• Familiarity with inventory control systems, shipping docs, and receiving processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, count, weigh, and verify shipments against POs and shipping records.
• Pack, label, crate, and prepare products for shipment using approved methods.
• Unload deliveries, inspect for damage, and process receipts in inventory systems.
• Route materials to appropriate departments and maintain inventory records.
• Determine shipping methods and ensure outbound shipments meet specs.
• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to transport products.
• Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and support warehouse organization.
• Follow safety, quality, and operational procedures to support on-time delivery.
