Custom Marine has an immediate opening for a Material Handler at our Neenah, WI facility. The role involves moving materials, receiving shipments, inspecting contents, and maintaining a clean, safe work area on a first shift.

Ideal candidates will have experience with powered industrial trucks, computer systems for tracking goods, and a strong attention to detail. The environment includes both office and manufacturing floors with company-paid benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as receiving/shipping clerk or similar position.
• Experience in operating powered industrial trucks.
• Self-starter, who can plan, prioritizes, manage time efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Experienced working with computers and handling paperwork.
• Understands and practices Quality System Requirements and documentation.
• ERP system knowledge.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
• Basic math and reading skills are required.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operates powered industrial trucks or hand trucks and move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
• Performs all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods.
• Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt.
• Unload packages from incoming trucks.
• Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged.
• Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, etc.).
