Job summary

Pretium Packaging in St. Charles, Illinois is seeking a materials handler to assist in the movement of materials to and from assigned machine presses. Responsibilities include following safety rules, scanning materials, and maintaining product flow.

Qualifications

• At least one year experience with materials handling.
• At least one year experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Responsible for food safety, food quality and site safety.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety rules and procedures required by departments and company.
• Scan with an RF Scanner for IQMS.
• Scan materials in and out as required.
• Maintain flow of product to and from equipment.
• Move skids to designated area at completion.
• Assist with construction of skids as required.
• Package, label and stack products as required.
• Prepare recycling of scrap according to procedures.
• Organize material on production floor.
• Perform inventory of warehouse/cycle count to support staging of pre-production products.
• Perform end-of-day disposition of finished goods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
