Job summary

Carpenter Co. has an immediate opening for a Material Handler at our Fogelsville, PA manufacturing plant. This role focuses on efficient and safe handling of unfinished and finished materials to ensure a smooth flow of goods through the plant.

The Material Handler will maintain daily communication with management and team leads, follow production routes, and adapt to changing instructions. The job is in a typical manufacturing environment with temperature variations and requires strong teamwork

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Ability to read and follow instructions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Receive finished product at the end of the line.
• Inspect finished goods prior to passing to the next step.
• Place correct labels on packaged materials.
• Read and follow route slips and daily schedules.
• Complete all required paperwork correctly and accurately.
• Assist with other production areas as needed.
