Job summary

GNC in Whitestown, IN is seeking a Material Handler to support distribution center operations, handling loading and unloading of trailers and movement of product throughout the DC.

You will use RF scanners and the WMS to track inventory, maintain PIT forklift safety, and ensure accurate paperwork and shipping documentation. This hourly role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prefer 3+ months experience in material handling.
• Must be able to operate hand tools and basic power tools.
• Must be able to obtain certified PIT operator status.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with accuracy.
• Basic arithmetic and data entry skills required.

Responsibilities

• Move products throughout the DC and load/unload trailers.
• Operate PIT equipment safely and maintain forklift certification.
• Use WMS and RF scanners to track inventory and materials.
• Record weights, shipments, and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow SOPs and cGMPs.
