Job summary

GNC is seeking a Material Handler at our Whitestown, IN Distribution Center to support loading and unloading trailers, move products, and record movements in the ERP/WMS.

This hourly, full-time role requires PIT certification and proficiency with Red Prairie WMS and RF scanners; you will help keep manufacturing lines stocked and ensure accurate shipping documentation. Performance incentive opportunities are available for higher productivity.

Qualifications

Certified to operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) safely.
Proficient with Red Prairie Warehouse Management System (WMS) and RF scanners.
Experience with ERP systems and shipping documentation (POs, BOLs).

Responsibilities

Load and unload trailers using PITs and manual hand loading.
Record movements in the Warehouse Management System.
Maintain forklift certification and safety standards.
Pull, deliver, and stage materials for manufacturing.
Post weights and shipping charges and prepare documents.
Communicate inventory discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
Ensure manufacturing lines are well stocked.
Use ERP system to perform inventory transactions and maintain records.
Weight and manage waste with Yield Calculation Program.
