Job summary

Graybar is hiring for a full-time warehouse associate in California. You will lift, move, and stock inventory, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and follow WMS procedures to receive, pick, pack, and ship items.

The role involves standing, walking, bending, and other physical tasks, with shift hours 12:00pm–9:00pm and overtime as required. Starting pay is $26.00 per hour plus department and shift differentials; experience and safety training are valued.

Qualifications

• 1 year of warehouse experience or more is required.
• Physically capable to receive, pick, pack, ship, and move materials (lifting up to 70 lbs).
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment in a safe manner per procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lift and move inventory around the warehouse.
• Operate warehouse equipment and large machinery per manufacturer instructions.
• Maintain clean, safe warehouse; perform daily safety inspections.
• Cut wire and cable with machines; ensure accurate cuts.
• Fill orders by type, length, and size requested by customers.
• Process incoming material and store it according to WMS procedures.
• Pack and prepare shipments to meet carrier schedules.
• Conduct cycle counts and locate stock in the warehouse.
