Job summary

ABM is seeking a Waste Material Handler in Plainfield, Indiana to collect, transport, process, and organize waste and recyclables such as cardboard, plastic, scrap, refuse, and pallets. You will support safe and efficient material handling operations across assigned areas while upholding company safety standards.

As trained, you may operate site equipment including balers and will contribute to a respectful, healthy work environment.

Job description

Overview

The Waste Material Handler is responsible for collecting, transporting, processing, and organizing a steady flow of waste and recyclable materials. These materials may include, but are not limited to, cardboard, plastic, scrap, refuse, and wooden shipping pallets. The Waste Material Handler supports safe and efficient material handling operations in assigned areas and may use site equipment, including balers, as trained and authorized. All team members are responsible for maintaining a safe, respectful, and healthy work environment.
