Job summary

Builders FirstSource’s San Lorenzo Lumber & Home Centers in the Santa Cruz area seeks an entry-level Material Handler to support the flow of materials on site. You will lift, carry, and stack items and operate various material handling equipment under supervision.

Responsibilities include following safety procedures, training with the foreman, and performing other duties as assigned in a production environment. This is an entry‑level, non‑supervisory role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Entry level position with on‑the‑job training.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and work in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Lifts, carries and stacks materials to optimize movement.
• Operates motorized and non‑motorized material handling equipment.
• Follows safety procedures and attends safety meetings.
• Receives training from foreman to learn work processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
