Job summary

Under direct supervision, you will participate in on-the-job training, follow safety procedures, and perform assigned duties as needed to support production and shipping processes at BFS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED. On-the-job training provided.
• Knowledge of how to use motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
• Commitment to safety procedures while handling materials.

Responsibilities

• Physically handles materials to optimize movement; lifts, carries, stacks items as needed.
• Operates motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
• Responds to training from foreman or senior handlers to learn processes.
• Observes safety procedures to prevent injuries and attends safety meetings.
• Other duties may be assigned.
