Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking an entry-level Material Handler to support the flow of materials on site. You will lift, carry, and stack items, and operate motorized and non-motorized handling equipment to keep processes running smoothly.

You'll follow safety procedures, participate in training from foremen, and perform additional duties as needed. This is an on-site, full-time position with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; on-the-job training provided.
• Experience with industrial material handling is a plus.
• Ability to operate motorized and non-motorized equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Handle and move materials to optimize flow; lift, carry, and stack items.
• Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in safety meetings.
• Attend training and learn job processes from foremen or senior handlers.
• Other duties as assigned.
