Material Handler - East Receiving- 3rd shift

Join NTN Bearing Corporation as a Material Handler - East Receiving - 3rd shift.

Job Location

Columbus, Indiana, USA

Job Responsibilities

1. Repack materials/products ensuring no damage; fill out QA HOLD tags for damaged items and notify supervisors.
2. Transfer tags and labels to new containers.
3. Perform inventory transactions using RF scanners.
4. Maintain 5S standards.
5. Pull loads in staging lanes and transfer products outside shipping areas.
6. Order parts from the Diafuku racking system.
7. Unload dunnage from trucks and load trucks per customer requirements.
8. Verify bar codes, labels, and quantities.
9. Cover dock areas during breaks/lunch if needed.
10. Be versatile and trained in other job assignments to cover during vacations/OA days.
11. Communicate shift change pertinent information.
12. Perform other duties as assigned by team leader or supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous sit-down forklift experience preferred.
• Self-starter with ability to multitask and organize.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• High School Diploma required.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 70 pounds regularly and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Stand and walk for extended periods, including on uneven surfaces and stairs.
• Perform repetitive tasks with manual dexterity.
• Good hand-eye coordination and visual acuity.
• Maintain physical stamina and balance while operating equipment.
• Work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor and warehouse settings.
