A leading education organization seeks a Material Handler Driver 1 to join their team. Responsibilities include receiving shipments, packing orders, and operating vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, driving experience, and skills in customer service, mathematics, and computer usage.

Under general instructions from the Warehouse Supervisor, performs tasks related to receiving, storing, documenting inventory, order picking, packing, staging, and distributing supplies, furniture, books, and equipment throughout the district. Communicates effectively with internal and external customers. Performs related duties as required.
Communicates with vendors and the public; prepares end-of-year inventory; evaluates donations; records data; handles hazardous materials safely.
Knowledge of basic math, computer skills, traffic laws, SDS sheets; skill in operating vehicles, lifting, stacking, using computer software, and following instructions; valid Nevada Class B CDL within 3 months; passing DOT physical, maintaining driving record, and completing safety training required.
Moderate risks; use of protective gear; exposure to chemicals and moving parts.
Requires physical exertion, lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, walking, bending, and similar activities. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.

Salary Grade 19: $18.11 - $21.83 per hour. Benefits include health insurance, retirement, paid leave, and more. Fingerprinting and background checks are required.
