Material Handler / Driver – Job Description

Summary

SUMMARY: The Material Handler / Driver partners with the warehouse, shipping, and supply chain departments to ensure timely and safe deliveries to intersite company locations and customers. This role involves moving material and finished products within the plant, including loading, shipping, and manufacturing areas.

Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pull product for order fulfillment and shipping preparation
• Work with operations team and independently to pick, pack, and ship orders
• Ensure shipping orders are correctly labeled and processed for efficient delivery
• Transport products throughout the warehouse using power pallet and/or forklift
• Operate forklift and other machinery as required for shipping
• Review receipt of materials for accuracy
• Track parts movement between digital and physical locations
• Ensure packaged goods are loaded according to documentation and bills of lading
• Perform other duties as required

Delivery Driver Duties:

• Loading, transporting, and delivering items safely and timely
• Obey traffic laws and be courteous
• Review orders before and after delivery for completeness
• Assist with loading and unloading
• Maintain cleanliness of the truck
• Communicate professionally with team members and vendors
• Work in all weather conditions
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Warehouse and material handling experience
• Experience in related job duties
• Clean driving record (not more than three points in past 3 years)
• Minimum two years’ commercial driving experience
• CDL license preferred but not required

Physical/Mental Demands:
