Job summary

Openwork is seeking an experienced Material Handler / Deburr for a manufacturing operation in Oklahoma City. This hands-on position is a great fit for someone with experience in material handling, forklift operation, overhead cranes, and metal finishing who is looking for steady work and long-term potential.

Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73179. Pay: $18.00–$19.00 per hour. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM. Temp-to-Hire; full-time. Overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of material-handling experience required.
• Forklift operating experience required.
• Overhead crane experience required.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Grinding and deburring experience preferred.
• Comfortable working with sheet metal and steel plate.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and accuracy.
• Reliable and consistent attendance.
• Ability to work effectively in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Flexibility to work overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Remove burrs, nicks, and rough edges from sheet metal and steel plate.
• Grind, deburr, and clean manufactured parts.
• Cut and remove scrap materials as needed.
• Load and unload materials and parts from production machines.
• Use overhead cranes extensively to safely move materials and parts.
• Handle and stage materials throughout the manufacturing area.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
