Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking a Material Handler (Material Bander/Wrapper) at our Mount Juliet, TN facility to keep inventory and raw materials moving safely and efficiently.

You will operate lift trucks, weigh and label finished products, perform cycle counts, and support shipping, 5S housekeeping, and cross-training as needed.

The shift runs 7:45am–4pm, Monday to Friday, with a starting rate of $22.47 USD per hour and opportunities to grow within our logistics team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years manufacturing/warehouse experience.
• Ability to obtain a Lift Truck Operator license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong computer literacy for inventory tracking software.
• Safety-first mindset with adaptability and teamwork.
• Willingness to work overtime and cross-train.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport material using lift trucks and equipment between production, warehouse and shipping areas.
• Weigh, inspect, label, and wrap finished products to meet quality standards.
• Perform cycle counts and resolve stock discrepancies in the tracking system.
• Provide packaging materials and support for core cutting; assist with 5S housekeeping.
• Coordinate with shift teams to hit daily production targets and safety standards.

Shift:7:45am - 4pm, M-F

Starting Hiring Rate: $22.47/hr

Are you an organized, adaptable team player looking for a dynamic warehouse role? As a Material Handler (Material Bander/Wrapper), you will serve as the engine of our facility's logistics, keeping inventory and raw materials moving safely and efficiently across departments.

What You Will Do:

Safely Transport Material: Operate lift trucks and equipment to move raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods between production, warehouse, and shipping areas.

Quality & Packaging: Weigh, inspect, label, and wrap finished products to meet customer standards and quality specifications.

Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts, resolve digital vs. physical stock discrepancies, and log inventory transactions in our tracking system.

Operational Support: Supply departments with packaging materials, support core cutting, assist with 5S housekeeping, and serve as backup for shipping coordination.

Collaborate & Adapt: Coordinate with shift team members to hit daily production targets and support site-wide safety standards.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED OR 3+ years of relevant manufacturing/warehouse experience.

Ability to obtain a Lift Truck Operator license and lift up to 50 lbs.

High attention to detail and strong computer literacy for inventory tracking software.

Demonstrated safety-first mindset, adaptability to shifting priorities, and a collaborative team attitude.

Willingness to work overtime and cross-train as needed.
