True Brands is currently hiring an on-site Material Handler. The Material Handler will be responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials within a facility, including picking inventory, loading and unloading shipments, organizing inventory, and ensuring materials are delivered to the correct locations in a timely manner, often utilizing machinery like forklifts, stock pickers, and pallet jacks while maintaining accurate records and adhering to safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Storing materials in designated locations, labeling products accurately, rotating stock, conducting cycle counts, bin replenishments, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
2. Analyzing pick sheets based on customer’s orders and pulling the appropriate products for each order.
3. Operate order picker to pick and fulfill product on shelves and stock incoming shipments.
4. Loading products onto trucks or other transport vehicles as necessary.
5. Safely operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other machinery to move materials efficiently.
6. Transact inventory moves using the company’s WMS system.
7. Keeping the warehouse workspace clean and organized, following all safety protocols while handling materials.
8. Work collaboratively with team members during peak times and to ensure delivery deadlines are met.
9. Follows the standard operating procedures (SOP).
10. Collaborates with the customer service team and other departments.
11. Escalates issues to Supervisor.

Qualifications:

1. 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
2. Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.
3. Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
4. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
5. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
6. Be able to complete warehouse equipment training.
7. Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
8. Able to read, understand, follow, and verify written instructions and count accurately.
9. Good numerical checking and comparing skills.
10. Able to handle multiple priorities in a timely and efficient manner.
11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
